Emily Dickinson fans may recognize this excerpt from one of her famous letters with Thomas Wentworth Higginson, an editor at The Atlantic who became a friend to the poet.

The small text at the bottom of the design reads: "—Emily Dickinson, in a letter to Thomas Wentworth Higginson dated 25 April 1862, in reply to his asking of her companions".

Original design was handlettered with the Marvy Uchida LePen Flex.
